Health System: For a simple illnesses there is a local clinic in the town and it has its own general practitioner who also lives in the town proper, For major emergency that need hospitalization the closest town will be Gumaca or for more modern facilities Lucena will offer a better outcome as it has more doctors specialize in some complicated illnesses. Schools: The school was build in three locations Maaliw,Dulong Bayan and Nag-Cruz . Two primary school and one private school was build in Maaliw . Another primary school and one public school was build in Dulong Bayan and the additional school was located at Nag– Cruz which only available for year eleven and year twelve. Other suburban area or Barangay’s has its own school and high school. There are some groups that offered free scholarship to those unfortunate children who wants to go to school but with their situation in life, and buying their own text books and other school supplies was hard .To go to university students have to travel to Gumaca, Unisan or in major cities like Lucena and Manila. Banking: Unfortunately the town has no bank but it offered a banking facilities through ATM machine and money changer like Mueller, Palawan, Western Union and other cooperative so people can save their money through the system. If one would like to deposit or send money to the major bank they have to go to Gumaca which has a six banks.
